There’s an ongoing controversy in Indonesia about freedom of religion. Lately there are many ‘new’ religions emerge in the society. The problem is some people can’t accept these new religions; some even condemn these religions just because the new religions are different from their religion. Some of the new religions offer different concept and rituals from the others. Some added new prophet into previous religion.
These condemnation –from my point of view- is useless, and do not reflect the freedom of religion concept in Indonesia. For me as long as these religions do not pose a threat to society criminally they should be allowed to practice their religion.
Just an opinion
And if people have a right to choose than they have a right to choose not to choose
